2017 was a pretty good year for me, I graduated from University with a 2:1 degree, and I travelled to America for 2 months, so nothing too eventful. I’m determined to make 2018 a year that I definitely won’t forget.
After graduating from University, I got myself a retail job so I could save some money for my trip to America, and even though travelling is one of my passions, and I had an amazing time seeing friends I hadn’t seen in over a year, something within me just didn’t feel right, I didn’t feel fulfilled with where my life was in that moment of time.
However, Christmas has been and gone, a time for relaxing and making the most of your family and friends, which is exactly how I spent it. All of my friends were home for the holidays, and I couldn’t have been happier to make new memories with some of my favourite people in the world. But now 2018 has come around, a time for a fresh start, a time to get back into the things that you love and find new things that you might love just as much.
Now, as I move into 2018 I have promised myself I am going to get back into the things I love, one of them being fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Before going to America, I have found a new passion in the gym and trying to live a better lifestyle, but since being back in the UK I have lost that motivation, but the fresh start the new year gives me also gives me the chance to regain that motivation I once had. 2018 is also the year that I want to experiment with new things, one of those things being Veganism. As we all know this world is a very fragile place, and I want to do whatever I can to help protect it and help it prosper. Also, in turn, I hope that Veganism will help me to live the healthier lifestyle I strive for in 2018.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you and I hope that you have learnt a little about me, and what this blog will bring to you. I intend this blog to not only share my lifestyle tips and progress, but also my other passions such as fashion, beauty, and travel. So I hope you’re buckled in and ready for this ride because 2018 has only just started, and I have a lot more to bring to you if you want to listen.
